Fight Club United
FOR MEN
Fight Club is for any man who is tired of status quo. We do ask that it is reserved for 18+ due to sensitive topic discussions.
BY MEN
All Fight Club Leaders have gone through a chapter of Fight Club. So you can trust that we are not willing to lead, where we have not been before.
TO REACH MEN
If you get the man, you get the family. Get the family, you get the church. Get the church, get the community. Get the community, you get the world!
What is Fight Club?
Fight club is not your typical men’s bible study. It is a 10-week spiritual boot camp which challenges men 18 or older to become the men that God intended for them to be. Using Nehemiah 4:14 as the vision, men learn what it means to “fight for their families, wives, and their homes”. With weekly assignments aimed to create physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual discipline along with accountability and Scripture memorization, men have seen harmful lifestyles altered, addictions crushed, and marriages restored. In a world that needs men to step up more than ever, by completing all assignments and following a 3-strike rule, men will graduate, confident, energized, and fired up to fight life’s challenges. If you get the man you get the family, if you get the family you get the community, if you get the community you get the world!
Why do I need Fight Club?
It’s no secret that the disappearance of the Man is a cultural epidemic, affecting our homes, schools, workplaces, churches, and communities. With increasing desperation, the Church is working to remedy this, but many of our churches, despite their best efforts, are still failing to reach men. That’s because many methods used by churches are missing these indispensable masculine ingredients.
Who is Fight Club for?
Who is Fight Club for?
Fight Club is for any man over 18 wanting to be the man they know they can to be; the man God made them to be.
Do I need Facebook to participate?
No! The men in Fight Club communicate with each other on a custom, private Band app that is not shared with a spouse or anyone else. This allows us to create a private group where men can share and is used only by members of this chapter of Fight Club, so it is closed off to the public.
How often do we meet
There are 3 large group gatherings per chapter. Each chapter is 10 weeks.
KO – Kick off (1st week)
Midway (5th week)
Graduation (post 10th week)
There are occasional squad meetings throughout the 10 weeks.
What if I can’t make it to the large group gatherings?
Why can’t you? The KO is set at 11:59pm so that you have no excuses. Now, maybe you are traveling, or have a job that has a firm night schedule. If that is the case, you can still participate, just sign up, and let us know.
When do I register?
Show up at Kick-off. You’ll register after.
You just have to show up!
Can I talk about it?
Yes, of course… You just don’t want to give away any of the good stuff for people that haven’t gone through yet.
How much does it cost?
Fight Club is free! You will be required to listen to or buy a book, and you have the option of buying a symbol of victory upon completion.
What if I can’t do the physical exercises?
Don’t worry, we won’t embarrass you. Now, if you can’t do it because you are not cleared by your Medical Doc, then all you need to do is let you squad leader know and a fitting assignment will be given to you that will still challenge you but he needs know ASAP.
